Coming Out

Dear Windy, I'm a closet dresser in the Chicago area. I have been dressing and dreaming of being a women for a man. I want to come out and make my dreams come true, can you give me any tips? I'm scared, but so want to do this. Thank you, Nancy

Dear Nancy: Of course you're scared! There is an element of real personal risk involved in presenting yourself as a woman to a man. You have been dressing for some time and you live in a big metropolitan area, which makes it much easier to go out and about as a woman. I would continue to explore your feminine side in safe places (shopping malls, etc) and try to find a friendly gay club to strut your stuff in. That is not Windy Cissy's scene, so be careful! Windy
